Job Description
Job Title: Counter Sales / Warehouse Helper
Location: Baker, LA
Pay: $15 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM start time
About the Company:
Our client is a well-established supplier of construction and fabrication materials. They operate a busy warehouse and shop facility that supports both walk-in customers and fabrication orders.
Job Description:
This is a hands-on role supporting both warehouse operations and customer counter service. The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable operating a forklift, and willing to jump between warehouse tasks and assisting customers at the counter.
Responsibilities:

Assist customers at the sales counter with orders and product needs

Pull, stage, and organize materials in the warehouse

Help with light fabrication work in the shop as needed

Safely operate a forklift to move and load materials

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Work as part of a team to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment
Job Requirements
Requirements:

Warehouse or counter sales experience preferred
-
Forklift experience required
-
Good communication and customer service skills
-
Ability to lift 50 lbs and stay active throughout the day

Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
-
Must have a clean background
Additional Information
This is "temp-to-hire" position. The goal of the candidate should be to hired-on with customer after the 60 day temp probationary period
