Tiger Labor & Staffing is recruiting for a Class B Dump Truck Driver to work with a pavement restoration company based in Port Allen. This is a long-term, temp-to-hire opportunity with a company that specializes in asphalt repair products and pavement preservation.

Job Overview:
The ideal candidate will primarily operate a dump truck to transport materials to and from job sites throughout the Baton Rouge area. However, this is not a driving-only position. Significant labor is required on-site, especially during hot summer months. The role also involves oversight of a small crew of work-release inmates and assisting in hands-on pavement repair operations.

Job Duties Include:

• Drive a company-owned Class B dump truck to deliver materials to active job sites

• Load and unload equipment, materials, and asphalt products

• Assist with pavement restoration tasks such as patching, prepping, and cleanup

• Supervise and work alongside work-release inmate workers

• Follow safety and compliance protocols on all work sites

Requirements:

Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) 
Ability and willingness to perform physical labor in high-heat conditions is essential
Able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors year-round
Leadership skills and ability to supervise a small crew
Steel-toe boots and dependable transportation
Drug-free and punctual with a strong work ethic
